Cutthroat Porter

Picked up a 6 of this last night. Pours dark black with a quarter inch head. Good retention. The nose was a little sweeter than I expected from this porter. Smelled very rich with hints of smoke and chocolate malt. Mouthfeel was also substantially lighter than it seemed in the glass. It had a nice texture and was not cloying. Taste was pretty good overall although I would not complain were it little more hoppy to balance that malt sweetness. All in all a good beer. I would buy it again.
