Hoegaarden Original White Ale

I enjoyed this beer. Quite a lot actually. It was the first beer I bought legally on my 21st birthday. It pours a cloudy golden orange color with a thin head and some retention. It smells delicious. The nose had hints of orange peel, coriander, hops and light caramel. Mouthfeel was a little too carbonated for my liking. Overall it tasted great. Everything you could smell. Some orange, coriander, some fruity ester flavors that are traditional in the witbier and some spicy hops all balanced nicely with the malt. Drinkability was a little low though due to the over carbonation and the sweetness of the beer, but very good. Will buy again.
