Pours very yellow with a small off-white creamy head. Heavy lacing in the glass. The nose is fruity and smells like phenyl alcohols. Good mouthfeel. Good balance between the heavy body and carbonation. Taste is bitter with fruity notes and a little hot from the high alcohol content. Very cloying. The aftertaste is pretty bad with this beer. Almost like rotting fruit. This is typical for a belgian strong ale like this. Not really my favorite style, but good if you are a fan of the style.
